Mai's back. It's not like I'm excited to see her or anything, but... she was in jail. The same jail Ty Lee was. The same jail my girls were are. Do I ask her if she knows anything about them or do I just wait and have faith in them? I just want to know if they're okay because anything Azula has to do with isn't good.

Hey guys? Weren't we supposed to go to the beach? It's almost the end of September and I don't know how Zuko and the Fire Nation do it, but October is usually too cold for any swimming. Unless... you want to go bug the Unagi like a certain somebody I know did during winter.

Guys turning into girls. Girls turning into guys. Hair in people's oatmeal.

Just another day in this wild city, I take it. While I'm at it, is anybody in the mood to spar with me? I'm looking for somebody who knows sword fighting and hand to hand combat. I'm getting all rusty in this place and I can't keep sparring my friends.

Ty Lee. When I said I forgave you enough to not fight you every time I saw you, I didn't mean we would be best friends. And I definitely didn't mean we could be handcuffed together.

Would there happen to be an armorer or somebody that's capable of creating battle armor in the city? I'm in dire need of new armor since I got stuck here without my usual type. I'm looking for something in this fashion, the closer the better. I'm willing to pay for quality and I do pay well.

Guys, I know we had a little trouble with Squeakles the other day. I'm sorry about that and I promise to replace anything that was broken, including somebody's "stuff jar". But it got me to thinking, maybe we should get another pet. Yes, we have Appa Zuko and Momo already, but what about something more... domesticated?

That said, can we keep her? I found her at a pet store in town and she's cute, calm, sweet, and she has the cutest nose! How can you say no to a face like that? I know you can't, Aang, even if she's a regular dog and not a cowdog, beardog, or even an eel hound. Right? Right.

Please? I'll even make sure Sokka doesn't eat it.

When Sokka told me that the curses made people act differently that they usually did, I thought he was just being his old, reliably dramatic self. How wrong I was. Horribly, horribly wrong.

Hotman-- I mean, Zuko. Please tell me you're wearing pants today, because last night left me sleepless and I do not mean that in any sort of a positive nature. Oh, how I wish I could have had Toph's eyes last night.

[Crash! Boom! Bang! There goes the sound of a couple of dishes and a cooking pot hitting the floor.]

NO, SQUEAKLES, NO! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? YOU DON'T CLIMB ON TABLES AND YOU DON'T CHASE MOMO!

[Squeakles chirps his little monkey chirps that could quite possibly filled with vulgarity.]

YOU DON'T POOP ON THEM EIT- DON'T EAT IT! NO! STOP THAT!

[A series of monkey and lemurs squeaks screech through the network and then running footsteps]

MOMO! YOU DON'T EAT IT EITHER! PUT IT DOWN! SOKKA, AANG, HECK, ZUKO HELP ME!

[And now there's a loud roar, enough to vibrate the whole top floor of Building 12 and maybe a few more. And then.... pure silence.]

So. Let's try this network thing.

Day two. Three? You kind of lose your sense of time in this place, I guess. I pretty much spent it watching people lose their minds locking each other up because of a curse and then discovering that may it just might be true that even with twenty-one pizzas around him, Appa can't eat all of them. Sokka too.

They were pretty good.

That said, if Sleeveless Guy can find a job cleaning tables, then so will I. Just not cleaning tables. Anybody offering? I'm trained in melee combat, sword fighting, and I have experience as the leader of the Kiyoshi Warriors. I do well with manual labor as well. Something like a guard of some sort sounds suitable.

Huh. I wonder if the girls are okay. They're tough, I know that. They'll survive. If Azula couldn't break me, they'll never break the girls. They've been trained well.
